Another Fresh Start
I've begun to truly believe in New Year's resolutions and applying myself to them, particularly after this rough year. The first of which is to be more money-minded as an unemployed student on leave of absence; so, as this marks two years of having a Premium Membership, I'm letting it run out. It may seem like an odd choice as I simultaneously intend to be my most artistically minded this year, but as heavily burdened as I've felt, I know that a less material - a less internet-DEPENDENT - focus can do nothing but make me feel lighter.
Merry Christmas. Happy Hanukkah. Joyous New Year to you all.

Ho boy am I glad that through some fluke I managed to pull myself together for #Rick-Fanclub (https://www.deviantart.com/rick-fanclub)'s fabulous contest, which was to imagine The Enrichment Center run by The Adventure Sphere himself. Without question that meant danger! explosions! and pretty ladies! I couldn't let that pass by. =)
So I sharpened my rather dulled fanfiction-writing utensils and to my great surprise, won first place! http://rick-fanclub.deviantart.com/blog/42746910/ I'm still too flustered to go back and read it myself ( :XD: I know, maybe someday...it still needs another on
